So we added OSL (Open Shading Language) to 3ds Max
OSL in 3ds Max allows you to use most (tho not all - there are some limitations) OSL shaders natively in 3ds Max. It works in:
- Any renderer supporting the classic 3ds max shader API, like Scanline, vRay, Corona, etc.
- Any renderer that natively support OSL (such as Arnold) can run the shaders directly
